Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years.
• 1 year of full-time experience in a patient activities program in a health care setting is required.
• Qualifications as a therapeutic recreation specialist or as an activities professional may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assists in developing the community’s wellness programming.
• Facilitates daily events and programming to meet the needs of the residents.
• Performs data collection to assist with residents’ assessment processes.
• Implements plans of care based on residents’ needs.
