Job summary

BlueCare Kirra Haven Aged Care Facility is seeking a passionate Wellness Partner to support residents’ physical, emotional and social wellbeing through person‑centred programs. You will work with residents directly to understand interests and cultural backgrounds, enabling meaningful participation and preserving independence.

Under the Wellness Lead, you will deliver inclusive activities, collaborate with care staff and volunteers, and help embed HELF Services into daily operations while

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification.
• Experience delivering group and 1:1 activities in aged care or community settings.
• Practical experience in creative, social, cognitive and physical activity facilitation.
• Understanding of dementia care, person-centred practice and cultural safety.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group and 1:1 wellness activities for residents.
• Build respectful relationships that support independence, dignity and participation.
• Collaborate with care staff, clinical teams, families and volunteers to align programs.
• Guide and engage Volunteers to contribute effectively to resident wellbeing.
• Complete lifestyle assessments (with supervision) and observe changes per escalation processes.
• Prepare activity spaces, materials and ensure safe, hazard-free environments.
