Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for residents and assist with mobility as needed. You will ensure resident comfort and vehicle safety on every trip.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, driving logs, and reporting changes in resident condition. The role requires a current driver’s license, CRS certification as applicable, and strong communication skills to support a positive resident experience.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• CPR certification may be required.
• Strong communication and time management skills are essential.
• Ability to remain calm in emergencies; operate wheelchair lift and secure mobility devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations.
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times.
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Complete required driving logs and documentation.
• Report resident changes in condition.
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards.
• Assist with activities when not driving.
