Job summary

Croasdaile Village is seeking a full-time driver to transport residents on scheduled routes in Durham, NC. The role requires a valid North Carolina CDL with passenger endorsement and a commitment to resident care.

You will operate vans/buses, perform safety checks, schedule daily runs, and maintain vehicle cleanliness while upholding confidentiality and professional conduct with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience driving for a transportation service or similar setting.
• Ability to schedule routes and respond to residents in a timely, courteous manner.
• Knowledge of vehicle safety checks and basic maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents on scheduled routes and on emergency basis.
• Maintain caring, respectful relationships with residents.
• Ensure vehicles are fueled, cleaned and safe for operation; report maintenance needs.
• Document and report any unusual conditions or resident concerns to supervisor.
