Job summary

Oak Hill Senior Living seeks an Activities Driver to transport residents to activities, appointments, and outings, and to assist with deliveries. You will ensure residents are safely loaded, monitored, and accompanied when medical needs arise, as directed by the nursing team.

The role requires a valid driver's license, clean driving history, basic first aid, and strong confidentiality. Vaccination against COVID-19 is required per policy.

Qualifications

• Must be over 21 years old and have driven for 3+ years.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a safe driving history.
• Must complete a basic first aid course and a driving skills test on hire.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in handling resident information.
• Demonstrate personal integrity, teamwork, and professional ethics.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to residents to activities, appointments, and outings.
• Load/unload residents; secure them safely in the vehicle.
• Accompany residents with medical needs as directed by nursing staff.
• Ensure communication with nursing staff after transports and document trips.
