Job summary

Homeview Health and Rehabilitation is hiring an Activities Driver to transport residents to activities and appointments, and to perform related duties in a respectful, safety-conscious manner.

The role includes loading/unloading residents, ensuring secure transportation, and coordinating with nursing staff for residents with medical needs. A valid license and clean driving history are essential, with training opportunities and a referral program available.

Qualifications

• Must be over 21 years old and have three years of driving experience or more.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered driver’s license issued by the state.
• Must have a safe driving history and be able to pass a driving skills test.
• Must complete a basic first aid course and be willing to maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to and from the facility’s activity programs, appointments, and outings.
• Load and unload residents, secure them safely in the vehicle, and ensure everyone’s safety.
• Transport residents to designated destinations; make deliveries as assigned.
• Report to the nurse after transports and maintain resident confidentiality and accurate records.
