Job summary

RICHLANDPA is seeking a dedicated transport assistant to assist residents with loading and unloading from facility vehicles and to ensure safe transport to medical appointments and activities. You will maintain vehicle interiors/exteriors and monitor maintenance logs to support reliability and community image.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED and CNA training, plus a valid driver's license and GPS familiarity. A clean driving record and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand job related instructions and manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, and residents.
• Certified nursing assistant training is required and CE maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with loading and unloading from facility approved vehicles.
• Ensures the safe transportation of residents to scheduled medical appointments or other approved activities.
• Maintains the interior and exterior of facility vehicles for safe transport and community image.
• Monitors vehicle maintenance logs and arranges regular maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations).
