Job summary
Vetter Senior Living in North Platte, NE is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/Driver to transport residents safely to appointments and outings, while assisting with bathing and personal care to maintain independence and dignity.
This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM schedule with occasional weekend/evening hours. Benefits include health, dental, vision and life insurance, retirement matching, PTO, holiday pay, and access to education benefits and online courses.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to assist residents with bathing and mobility needs.
- Compassionate, reliable, and resident-focused attitude.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Transport residents safely to appointments, outings, and community events.
- Assist residents with bathing and personal care services.
- Ensure resident comfort, dignity, and safety during care.
- Maintain transportation schedules and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Follow all safety, infection control, and company policies.
