Job summary

Accura HealthCare of Tekamah is seeking a Resident Transport Driver to safely transport residents to appointments and activities, and assist them in and out of the vehicle. You will maintain a clean vehicle and interact with residents and families in a courteous manner.

The role requires 18+ years old, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and flexibility for a part-time schedule including on-call and some weekends. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid state-issued Driver’s License with clean motor vehicle record.
• Experience with elderly individuals or caregiving/transportation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from appointments and activities.
• Assist mobility with wheelchairs, walkers, or other aids.
• Ensure passengers are seated securely and use safety restraints.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues.
• Keep records of trips, times, routes, and passenger details.
• Coordinate daily/weekly transportation with care team and operations.
