Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Transportation Aide to safely transport residents to medical appointments, community events, and admissions from local hospitals. You will assist residents onto and off the van and perform daily vehicle checks to ensure safety.

Additionally, you will report maintenance needs, keep driveways clear, and maintain a clean vehicle, upholding the community’s high safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License; CDL license if applicable.
• Experience transporting residents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the van for scheduled appointments and activities.
• Assist residents onto/off the vehicle and to destination if needed.
• Notify supervisor of any required vehicle repairs.
• Complete daily van checklist and check gas before trips.
• Monitor vehicle inspection schedule and safety.
• Keep driveways and walkways clear of hazards.
• Report hazards to supervisor and keep van interior/exterior clean.
