Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must hold a valid Texas driver’s license.
• Basic CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to appointments safely and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance.
• Complete transportation logs and forms bi‑weekly.
• Refuel the vehicle as needed.
• Assist residents in getting on and off the van.
• Follow policy guidelines in the event of an accident.
• Arrange a replacement driver in case of absence.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and upkeep.
• Assist other departments when transports are not scheduled.
• Attend mandatory in‑service meetings.
