Job summary

Rose Meadows Health and Rehab Center in Pittsburgh is seeking a Transportation Assistant to move residents to appointments and activities, and to assist in emergency transport situations. The role supports Life Safety Code compliance and helps maintain the facility as directed by the Maintenance Director.

The position requires a high school diploma, CPR certification (or willingness to obtain), a valid driver’s license, and solid English communication for documentation and safety reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification required or willing to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Age 25 or older and able to understand English for documentation.
• Ability to understand traffic signs and complete required paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to appointments and activity functions.
• Provide transport in emergency situations as directed.
• Assist Maintenance Director with Life Safety Code and facilities upkeep.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and procedures.
