  • Coordinate with contractors for post-eviction cleanouts and turnover services.
  • Provide regular reporting on status updates and risk assessments to management.

Job Summary

Camillo Companies is actively seeking an experienced Resident Transition Coordinator. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless resident transitions (i.e. eviction cases), accurately communicating with residents and ensuring compliance with all legal regulations and company best practices. This person will coordinate the eviction process. This role will report directly to the Resident Transition Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, they will have the ability to handle sensitive situations in a professional manner.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents throughout the collections and eviction process, addressing questions and concerns professionally.
  • Assist in coordinating the eviction process, including pre‑eviction notices, legal filings, and court proceedings.
  • Maintain an organized tracking system to monitor eviction cases, ensuring timely progression through each stage.
  • Ensure all eviction activities comply with landlord‑tenant laws, fair housing regulations, and company policies.
  • Work closely with legal counsel to prepare documentation and provide support during court proceedings.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for property clean‑outs, lock changes, and turnover services post‑eviction.
  • Provide regular reporting for management including status updates and risk assessments associated with eviction cases and take proactive steps to protect company assets.
  • Travel for court hearings, property assessments, or other job‑related tasks as required.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Friendly and welcoming demeanor with the ability to maintain professionalism and a strong customer‑focused demeanor with demanding clientele.
  • Excellent time management skills, detail‑orientation and ability to multi‑task and prioritize work.
  • Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills, along with advanced conflict resolution skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills and proficient in English. Must be able to articulate needs and convey information verbally and in writing effectively with employees, customers, supervisors, and co‑workers throughout the organization.
  • Knowledge of management methods and sound employee relations techniques with an ability to connect to staff, troubleshoot problems and help teams collaborate, as necessary.

Education and Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in property management, legal support, collections, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with property management software.
  • Experience with eviction processes preferred
  • Conversational Spanish preferred
