Altorfer Inc. is seeking a field service technician to perform in-the-field repairs on construction equipment across Missouri. You’ll troubleshoot engines, hydraulics, electrical and other systems at customer sites, ensuring top service and safety standards.
The role requires completing service reports, ordering parts, and maintaining strong customer relationships with a focus on safety and efficiency. You may work overtime or weekends as needed, with travel to job sites and a physically
730 am – 400 pm Monday – Friday, Saturdays, Sundays and callouts as needed. Perform in the field service repairs on construction equipment. This position covers the construction market in the following Missouri territory. Counties include, but not limited to Randolph, Macon, Adair, Monroe, and Shelby county.
This position works in a field environment primarily at customer jobsites. This position will spend a good portion of time being outdoors working in fields, exposed to elements of weather, dust and dirt. May work in an office environment and travel to customer’s work sites. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 75-100lbs. Must be able to climb/operate machinery and various types of equipment. Will be required to wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields, hearing protection, etc.) for a given situation. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed.
