Job summary

The Mental Wellness Center in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking a Resident Support Professional to provide compassionate care and supervision in our adult residential facilities, following individualized service plans. You will assist residents with daily living tasks, monitor status, document changes, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Basic First Aid & CPR certification (or ability to obtain).
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in record-keeping software.
• Empathy, compassion and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Care and supervision of residents in adult facilities.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and medication oversight.
• Monitor and document client status; report changes for timely support.
• Document client status changes, including physical, medication, psychosocial and behavioral changes.
• Adhere to guidelines in the employee handbook (dress code, code of conduct, scheduling).
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality care.
