Job summary

Passages Malibu is seeking a Resident Support Technician to be the primary contact for residents, ensuring safety and program compliance in Port Hueneme, CA. The role supports residents with daily activities and schedules while monitoring detox processes.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED; associates or bachelor’s degree is preferred, and CPR/First Aid certification is required. Valid CA driver license and clean driving record are often necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
• CPR / 1st Aid certification required.
• California Driver License with clean driving record preferred/required at company discretion.
• Experience in healthcare or chemical dependency settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in intake process, manage incoming calls, room changes, and passes.
• Assist residents with daily schedules and activities.
• Monitor detoxification process by checking residents at assigned intervals.
• Conduct bag searches and collect urine drug screens as directed.
• Ensure resident compliance with facility rules and guidelines.
