Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a social service setting preferred
• Experience in housing/residential buildings in major city (Seattle) preferred
• Knowledge of Seattle & King County social services and resources
• Basic computer literacy with Outlook, Word, SharePoint

Responsibilities

• Greets residents, guests and clients and provides information about YWCA programs with a positive attitude
• Answer inbound calls and direct to appropriate departments; make referrals to services
• Maintain calm, professional demeanor and protect confidentiality
• Monitor lobby activities, assist with security and safety protocols
• Provide initial referrals to programs and community resources as needed
• Respond to emergencies and crisis situations using established procedures
• Complete written correspondences and log important information for case managers
