Job summary

New England Revolution seeks a Tutor to provide off-field education support to Residency Players within the Academy. You will track online school progress, coordinate with teachers, and help students navigate academic requirements and NCAA guidelines.

Required are a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years teaching or tutoring experience, with strong communication and time management skills. Multilingual ability is a plus; travel and weekend availability may be needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
3+ years of experience teaching or tutoring.
2-4 years of experience providing well-being support in a residency setting or relevant.
Effective communication skills, oral and written.
Demonstrated time management skills.
Organized and attentive to detail.
Ability to effectively adjust to needs and changing schedules.
Must be able to travel and work nights/weekends as required.
Bi-lingual (English and Spanish / Portuguese) preferred.

Responsibilities

Track student-athletes’ online school progress and oversee completion of assignments and classes.
Help student-athletes communicate with their online school and teachers.
Provide guidance and support with academics as needed.
Complete weekly check-ins with every student-athlete that utilizes tutor services.
Collaboratively create class and assignment schedules with student-athletes.
Educate student-athletes on NCAA eligibility and guidelines.
Facilitate scheduling of state-mandated testing for student-athletes.
Regularly communicate with Academy Director with necessary academic updates.
Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
Maintain, create and control all personally identifiable information per privacy standards and company policies.
