Job summary

Ford Model e U.S. is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead supplier QR performance improvements, participate in cross-functional reviews, and resolve warranty concerns while supporting QR procedures and dispute resolution.

The role requires 2+ years in quality management and plant manufacturing, with a BS/engineering degree and Six Sigma Black Belt preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a salary range aligned with industry standards for Grade 7/8 positions.

• 2+ years in Quality Management and APQP/PPAP processes.
• 2+ years of plant manufacturing experience.

In this position...

• Lead Critical Supplier Process to drive Supplier Quality Reject (QR) performance improvement.
• Participate in Whiteboard reviews and assigned sub-system PRT (Powertrain Variability Reduction Team) meetings. Drive resolution of external supplier process -1MIS and 0MIS warranty concerns.
• Support QR procedures by supporting concern binning, reviewing threshold QRs, and providing support for QR Dispute resolution. Assist the Incoming

You’ll have...

• Bachelor of Science/Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• 2+ years of Quality Management, Problem Solving, APQP, PPAP processes
• 2+ years of Plant Manufacturing experience

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480-141,360.

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120.
