Job summary

Harbor-Villa-Care-Center in Anaheim is seeking a Treatment Nurse to provide primary skin care to residents per care plans and current standards. You will work with the care planning team, document progress notes, and ensure privacy and policy compliance while communicating empathetically with residents, families, and staff.

The role requires RN/LVN licensure, CPR/BLS, and at least 6 months of skilled nursing experience.

Qualifications

• RN Nursing Degree or LVN from accredited school.
• Valid RN or LVN license in good standing.
• Valid CPR and BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Consulting with the Care Planning Team regarding assessment evaluations.
• Ensuring that all nursing care is provided in privacy and following facility policies.
• Checking vital signs and dressing wounds.
• Making rounds with physicians when requested.
• Listening to residents and their families; addressing questions/concerns.
• Documenting residents' progress notes accurately and in detail.
• Abiding by facility policies including safeguarding user IDs and passwords.
• Following infection control policies and hand washing protocols.
• Reporting any occupational exposures to supervisor immediately.
• Attending in-service training and committee meetings as required.
