Job summary

LifeSTEPS in South Sacramento, CA is seeking a Director of Social Services/Program Coordinator to empower residents through education, case management, and community outreach. This non-exempt role runs 25 hours per week and focuses on housing stability and youth development.

You will coordinate services for seniors, families, and after-school programs, manage partnerships, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with policies while delivering compassionate support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or related field.
• 2 years of experience in social services for multi-families, seniors and children.
• Valid California Driver's License and insured transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide program coordination and case management for residents.
• Coordinate housing and supportive services for participants.
• Engage youth with after-school education and enrichment activities.
