Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Guest Services Coordinator for the Family Motel program. You will manage the residential facility during your shift, support housing stability, and ensure safety and cleanliness while coordinating activities and maintaining client files.

This role requires trauma-informed care awareness and effective teamwork. The position offers part-time hours with various shifts, a $20 per hour pay rate plus a $1.00 overnight shift differential, and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related area or equivalent experience.
• One year direct human service experience.
• Willing to obtain first aid, AED and CPR certifications and keep current.
• Criminal and civil background checks within 30 days of hire.
• Good organizational and planning skills; works well as part of a team.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest voices are heard and contribute ideas to programming.
• Maintain knowledge of program requirements, referrals, and best practices.
• Document client interactions and eligibility data; enter into HMIS/Service Point.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality; de-escalate conflicts and report as required.
• Supervise volunteers and support front desk duties (phone, messages, donations).
• Support staff with scheduling, trainings, and coverage as needed.
