Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Hospitality Aide to provide hospitality services to community residents who do not require direct patient care. The role involves assisting with dining, delivering trays, and helping orient new residents within the facility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Answer call lights promptly and courteously and notify proper personnel of resident needs.
• Pass trays in dining room and to residents confined to their room.
• Pass drinking water and ice.
• Strip bed linen and remake bed as directed.
• Record observations, such as nourishment intake at meal times, as directed.
• Help orient new residents to facility.
• Straighten rooms, including labeling of personal toiletries.
• Clean equipment (bedpans, wheelchairs, IV poles, etc.) as directed.
• Monitor compliance with state/federal regulations (infection control, hazardous materials, fire safety).
• Monitor compliance to resident rights.
