Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Resident Services Coordinator in San Jose to deliver exceptional customer service to residents and property staff. The role supports planning and executing resident activities, ensuring a high-quality living experience across stabilized properties.

Responsibilities include coordinating resident functions, publishing newsletters, handling issues, and managing maintenance requests. The position requires flexibility, strong service orientation, and the ability to work evenings

Qualifications

• Strong background in customer service and hospitality is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all resident functions and activities, orienting residents to the property and assisting with utility setup and package delivery/reminders.
• Develops and publishes a property newsletter including planned events, resident services, and advertisements.
• Handles resident issues, including neighbor disputes, maintenance repairs, and resident requests.
• Prepares incident reports pertaining to resident issues according to company standards.
• Schedules activity center or clubhouse rentals, maintains related contracts, and collects fees.
• Ensures guest suites are rental-ready and provides amenities such as movie rentals, books, and games.
• Processes work orders for maintenance, follows up to ensure completion and informs residents.
• Prepares weekly maintenance reports to verify that requests are being completed.
• Inspects buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness, and flags items for repair.
