The Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) is responsible for assisting tenants to identify services and benefits that will enable tenants to maintain independence. The RSC works in conjunction with the Property Manager and always maintains a mutually respectful, collaborative relationship. The objective of the RSC position is to work from an empowerment model toward the goal of self-actualization of the residents. The RSC must fulfill many roles to meet this goal including; educator, community builder, advocate, investigator, liaison, and service facilitator.
