Job summary

La Vida Llena in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a Security Aide to help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents, guests and team members. The role emphasizes monitoring, incident reporting, and professional interaction with all campus visitors.

You will monitor CCTV and alarm systems, respond to emergencies, complete logs and reports, and contribute to resident safety initiatives with a calm, courteous demeanor. CPR/AED and First Aid certification is required or within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in security, safety, building monitoring, or a related field.
• Knowledge of alarm systems, communication equipment, and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to complete reports, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate effectively with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and security monitoring throughout the community through observation, patrols, and reporting.
• Screen and direct residents, guests, vendors, contractors, and visitors while promoting a welcoming environment.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, fire alarm systems, emergency call systems, and other security-related equipment.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, resident needs, and incident situations while maintaining professionalism and composure.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation while supporting resident and employee safety initiatives.
