Job summary

The Salvation Army in Waco, TX is seeking a Housing Monitor to ensure the safety and orderly operation of a residential rehabilitation program for long‑term residents. You will perform rounds, monitor compliance with house rules, and document intake and daily notes to maintain accurate client records.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of security or social service experience; CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent combinations acceptable.
• At least one year of experience in security or social services preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Monitor activities of long-term residents in a residential rehabilitation program.
• Ensure safety, security, and compliance with house rules; maintain logs and records.
• Complete intake and daily case notes; input data into the system.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with behavioral incidents as needed.
