Job summary

Rushwood Senior Living in Wichita, KS is seeking a Part-Time Driver to support residents with transportation to appointments and daily activities. The role runs Monday to Friday, 9:00am–1:00pm, with a pay range of $17.50–$23 per hour.

You will perform duties that promote safety, health, and compassionate service for our residents. As a Driver, you may help with light maintenance tasks, answer resident questions, and ensure timely arrivals while adhering to state chauffeur license requirements

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess and maintain state-required chauffer class license.
• Clean driving record per insurer.
• Experience in senior housing preferred.
• First aid certification required.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift/move items over 50 pounds.
• Active role with standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping; ladder use.
• Criminal clearance and fidelity bondability.
• Good health verified by physician health screening within 6-7 months.
• Leadership and supervisory skills including time management and organization.
• Flexible weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Meet resident transportation needs and ensure safe, timely arrivals to appointments.
• Assist with maintenance duties and safety needs throughout the community.
• Provide first-class customer service to residents in a safe, professional manner.
