Job summary

Fuss & O’Neill is seeking a Resident Project Representative to support construction administration and site inspections for water and wastewater projects across Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.

In this field-based role, you will serve as a key on-site representative during construction, working closely with contractors, engineers, regulators, and project teams to ensure work is completed in accordance with contract documents, specifications, schedules, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of construction field or inspection experience with the ability to measure quantities and complete daily reports.
• Experience working directly with contractors and managing construction documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Procore or MS Project a plus.
• EIT, PE, NICET, and/or NASSCO certification a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site construction inspections to verify compliance with plans, specifications, and regulations.
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Measure quantities and maintain accurate daily RPR/inspection reports.
• Coordinate field activities with office-based construction administration staff.
• Assist with contractor pay requisitions and quantity verification.
• Evaluate, document, and process changes in construction work elements.
• Interface with contractors, engineers, homeowners, and regulatory agencies.
• Attend construction progress meetings and communicate field issues.
