Fuss & O’Neill in Hartford, CT is seeking a Resident Project Representative to support construction administration for water and wastewater projects across CT, RI, and MA. You will be the on-site presence, ensuring work aligns with contract documents, schedules, and regulatory requirements.

This role requires travel with site work predominance; the ideal candidate has 4+ years in construction inspections, strong documentation skills, and proficiency with Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of construction field or inspection experience.
• Experience with contractors and construction documentation; proficient with MS Excel/Word.

Responsabilités

• Perform on-site construction inspections for compliance with plans and regulations.
• Interpret drawings, specs, and contract documents.
• Measure quantities and prepare daily inspection reports.
• Coordinate field activities with office staff.
• Assist with contractor pay requisitions and quantity verification.
• Document changes in construction work elements.
• Interface with contractors, engineers, homeowners, and regulators.
• Attend progress meetings and communicate field issues.
