Job summary

Triad Complete Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Physician to oversee pain management for new and existing patients in Ponca City. The role requires collaborating with mid-level providers and clinical pharmacists to optimize care and create polymodal regimens for chronic pain.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required and actively licensed to practice medicine.
• Current DEA license is required for prescribing controlled substances.
• No outstanding actions or sanctions on medical board history.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse care team.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients through interviews and physical examinations, update medical histories.
• Document patient care in charts and records accurately.
• Provide quality outpatient pain management services by appointment.
• Develop and adjust polymodal pain regimens for chronic pain patients.
• Maintain licensure and participate in continuing medical education.
• Maintain valid OBNDD and DEA numbers and compliant prescribing practices.
• Collaborate effectively with mid-level providers and clinical pharmacists.

The role involves seeing new patients, collaborating with mid‑level providers and clinical pharmacists to optimize care and develop polymodal pain regimens for patients with chronic pain.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assesses patient health by interviewing patients and performing physical examinations (including obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories)
• Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records
• Provides quality outpatient services by appointment
• Provides ongoing health maintenance, health education, and disease prevention periodic screening for adults
• Completes own continuing medical education and maintains licensure in good standing
• Maintains current OBNDD and DEA number
• Interacts effectively with patients, families, clinic team members, and others

Qualifications
