Qualifications

• 0 years of experience preferred, but will consider new graduates or those with related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food safety certification and CPR/First Aid training preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including washing, cutting, and cooking food items.
• Prepare and deliver meals to patients, ensuring that all dietary requirements are met.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Restock supplies and inventory of food, beverages, and equipment.
• Assist with food storage, including labeling and dating food items.
• Maintain a clean and organized dietary department, adhering to infection control standards.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to plan and prepare special meals and events.
• Ensure compliance with dietary policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure patient satisfaction and care.
