Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Culinary Aide at our Lowell Healthcare location to assist with meal prep, portioning, and service for residents while helping to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area. You will collaborate with culinary leaders to meet dietary needs and ensure quality dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work alongside culinary team and leaders.
• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification (may be required by state/federal agencies).

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Assist in preparation and portioning of meal items according to menus and resident diets.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Clean equipment and maintain a sanitary workplace.
