Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Dietary Technician/Assistant to support our dietary services team. This full-time role requires a high school diploma, a food handler's permit, and the ability to follow instructions and work independently while maintaining accuracy in resident meal planning.

You will collaborate with a licensed dietician, monitor diets for residents, update tray cards, and refer nutritional concerns to the Dietician.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Food Handler's Permit required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Basic understanding of normal and therapeutic diets and food safety.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience working with a licensed dietician preferred.
• DTR credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview residents to determine food preferences and complete Resident Food Profile.
• Update resident food preferences in tray card database.
• Refer residents to Dietician for nutritional or eating concerns.
