Betz Nursing Home, part of American Senior Communities, is seeking a part-time cook for day and evening shifts. You will follow recipes, prepare meals meeting residents' nutritional needs, and lead basic kitchen tasks while upholding sanitation and food safety standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience); preferred sanitation certification and prior healthcare or institutional food service exposure.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification, if not required by state/federal agencies.
• Preferred: Prior institutional and/or healthcare service experience.

Responsabilidades

• Follows recipes and prepares food that matches menus meeting residents’ nutritional needs.
• Cooks or prepares palatable, attractive, nutritionally adequate meals in required quantities.
• Leads kitchen staff with food preparation, assembling trays, cleaning, and storing supplies and equipment.
• Maintains a clean food service work area during food preparation and service.
• Handles, stores, and disposes of food supplies in accordance with procedures and regulations.
