Almond-Vista-Healthcare is seeking a Cook to prepare palatable, nutritionally sound meals for residents in a care setting. You will follow diet orders, prepare meals in institutional quantities, and ensure proper temperatures and timely service.

The role requires attention to sanitation, ability to adapt portions for resident needs, and coordination with the Dietary Services Supervisor to support inspections and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking in a commercial kitchen (health care setting preferred).
• Ability to follow recipes, menus and diet requirements.
• Strong attention to sanitation, safety and documentation.

Responsabilités

• Follow recipes and prepare meals per menu cycles.
• Supervise kitchen staff and assist with tray assembly.
• Ensure foods are served at proper temperatures and times.
• Maintain sanitary work areas and proper storage of supplies.
• Assist with inventory and ordering of stock.
