Casper Mountain Rehabilitation & Care Center is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to support residents’ nutritional needs by assisting with meal preparation, service, and dining room upkeep.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or dietary experience preferred, especially in healthcare or long-term care settings.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes, meal plans, and dietary instructions accurately.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach when interacting with residents.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, snacks, and beverages according to established menus, dietary guidelines, and food safety standards.
• Serve meals and beverages to residents while ensuring proper sanitation, food handling, and infection control practices.
• Assist with meal tray preparation and delivery according to resident dietary orders and preferences.
• Set up and break down dining areas, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Perform dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, and general sanitation duties in accordance with facility standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking food, beverages, and kitchen supplies.
• Follow all facility policies, dietary procedures, and state and federal regulations.
• Assist residents during meal service as needed to promote a positive dining experience.
• Participate in nutrition-related programs, special events, and resident-centered dining initiatives.
• Collaborate with dietary staff and interdisciplinary team members to support resident nutritional needs.
