Viva Senior Living is seeking a Resident Medication Associate to support the clinical team in administering medications to residents. The role requires completing the state-mandated Medication Technician certification and maintaining ongoing education, with emphasis on accuracy and compassionate care.

You will read, write, and communicate in English, adhere to facility policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Medication Technician per State regulations.
• Must complete required continued education and maintain certification per State regulations.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must possess knowledge of state medication techniques.
• Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED.

Responsibilities

• Administers and accurately records the administration of medications for residents as prescribed by the physician in accordance with established policies and procedures.
