Job summary

Viva Senior Living in New Jersey is seeking a Resident Medication Associate to join the Clinical department. The role requires certification as a Medication Technician per state regulations and adherence to all regulatory standards, policies, and the Resident Bill of Rights.

You will maintain ongoing certification through required CE, apply knowledge of state medication techniques, and collaborate with peers to provide compassionate, dignified care to residents.

Qualifications

• Certification as Medication Technician per State regulations.
• Comply with standards of business conduct per federal, state, and local health regulations.
• Maintain certification through required continued education per State regulations.
• Knowledge of state medication techniques.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Maintain compassion and dignity per Resident Bill of Rights.
• May be called back during emergencies (e.g., severe weather, evacuations).
• Adhere to attendance policies per Employee Handbook.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Maintain high standards of care for residents and families.
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete certification as Medication Technician per State regulations.
• Comply with health and regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Maintain required continued education to keep certification.

• Possess a high school diploma or GED at minimum.
• Provide compassionate, dignified care aligned with the Resident Bill of Rights.
• Be available for call-backs during emergencies.

• Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and understanding English.
• Uphold high standards of resident care and service to families.
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
