Job summary

Cardinal Bay is seeking a Full-Time Resident Medication Tech at Carriage Inn Bryan to assist in resident care, administer medications, and support independence with dignity. Responsibilities include monitoring treatment responses, documenting health updates, and coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications include 6 months to 1 year of resident care experience, HS diploma or GED, and English proficiency; CMA certification preferred.

• Requires effective communication with residents and colleagues.
• High School diploma or GED required; CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician.
• Monitors residents for treatment effects and interactions and notifies supervisor.
• Maintains accurate medication records and reports changes in residents’ condition.
• Counts controlled substances with staff and ensures accuracy of medication counts.
• Follows infection control policies and procedures in medication administration.
• Ensures timely documentation of medication distribution and resident activities.
