Carolinas Alliance for Residential Excellence is seeking a Medication Technician at a starting pay rate of $19 per hour in Virginia Beach, VA. Available shifts include day, evening, night, and rotation with differential pay for some shifts.

Qualifications

• Must meet the Supervisor-In-Charge requirements and state regulatory training/testing guidelines.
• Complete required CEUs annually.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration and coordination.
• Ensure staff coverage and adequate breaks.
• Enforce facility rules and resident rights.
• Notify leadership of resident changes and emergencies.
• Communicate with pharmacy to ensure meds are available and appropriate.
• Dispose of discontinued medications per policy.
• Maintain current certification with annual CEUs.
