Job summary

Fox Hollow Residential Care in Eugene, Oregon, is seeking a Medication Technician for full-time swing shift (2pm-10pm) at $19.50/hr DOE. You will assist residents with medications and daily living activities while ensuring safety, confidentiality, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include documenting administration, reporting changes to nurses, and maintaining proper medication storage and inventory. Prior assisted living experience preferred; state requirements and CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• Must meet state requirements for medication administration in assisted living.
• Medication Technician certification or delegation as required by state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or required by facility policy.
• Experience in assisted living or memory care preferred.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of resident medications in accordance with physician orders, established procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Accurately document medication administration and maintain medication records.
• Observe residents for changes in condition, medication reactions, or other concerns and promptly report them to the appropriate nurse or supervisor.
• Ensure medications are properly stored, secured, and handled according to facility procedures.
• Assist with medication ordering, refills, and inventory as assigned.
• Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, mobility, toileting, and other personal care needs as appropriate.
• Respond promptly and compassionately to resident requests and needs.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and follow HIPAA and facility privacy requirements.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the care team.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support resident care and facility operations.
