Job summary

Midwest-Health is seeking a Cook to prepare meals in accordance with federal, state, and local standards while following established policies and procedures. You will work under the Director of Food Services and support dietary needs and safety guidelines.

The role requires adherence to infection control, care plans, and proper handling of food and supplies to ensure meals are served on time and with quality. On-site responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Community's personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Report any resident abuse/neglect per policy.
• Prepare meals per planned menus and standardized recipes.
• Assist in establishing food service production and ensuring meals are ready on time.
• Review care plans to ensure dietary information aligns with meals served.
• Maintain sanitary procedures and safety precautions at all times.
