Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) seeks a Food Service Driver to join our team in delivering meals from the main kitchen to assigned units and assisting with meal service and prep. You will work closely with dietary staff to ensure accurate portioning and timely delivery to residents.

The role emphasizes teamwork, following schedules, and maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards. Prior food service experience is preferred but not required; ServSafe or state certification may be required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Ability to follow time schedules for meal preparation and serving.
• Food Safety Manager or Foodhandler Certification: may be required by state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals to residents using a vehicle.
• Serve meals according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Assist with food preparation.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
