Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food preparation, serve meals according to dietary needs, and maintain sanitation in kitchen and dining areas.

The role requires interacting positively with residents and staff, following safety guidelines, and performing routine tasks as needed. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants and staff.
• COVID-19 vaccination compliance as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents and staff, providing excellent customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education
