Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety while delivering friendly, personalized service.

The role requires light to moderate physical tasks, adherence to dietary guidelines, and successful teamwork with staff and leadership. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food service/kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Perform routine, repetitive tasks.
• Work around food and cleaning products.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
