Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field from accredited college/university.
• NCCAP/ Recreation Therapist Certification.
• Valid Ohio Driver's License.
• Completion or enrollment in State/NCCAP approved Activity Professional's Course.
• Knowledge of state/federal assessment/care planning documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality work environment through teamwork and positive attitudes.
• Input into budgeting process and fiscal compliance of activity department.
• Assist Social Worker in developing and communicating department policies and procedures.
• Be part of the care planning team and maintain timely, accurate documentation per regulations.
• Plan the calendar for all programs.
• Support and participate in funding source inspections.
• Maintain good relationships with other departments.
• Coordinate and supervise volunteers and work-study students.
• Identify problems and contribute to improvement programs.
• Facilitate monthly activity meetings and participate in staff meetings.
