Heritage Care Center in Nebraska is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to plan, organize, and lead engaging resident activities. You will foster meaningful relationships, support a positive atmosphere, and help residents participate in social and therapeutic programs.

This full-time hourly role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and creativity. You’ll contribute to a welcoming environment, coordinate events, and collaborate with families and staff to enrich residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading resident activities and enrichment programs
• Encourage resident participation in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities
• Build positive relationships with residents and support individual interests and abilities
• Assist with decorating, special events, outings, and holiday celebrations
• Observe, report, and document resident participation and responses to activities
• Support resident safety, comfort, and well-being during activities and events
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
