Landis Communities in Lititz, PA is seeking a Part-Time Life Enrichment Assistant to support activities for residents in Healthcare houses during day shifts. You will collaborate with the household team to plan, implement, and document resident activities and programs.

The role emphasizes engaging residents, coordinating with RNAC and volunteers, and helping create a home-like environment within the care setting.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma/GED or demonstrated reading/writing proficiency.
Prior experience in related role preferred.
Prior experience in long term care facility preferred.
Proficient in use of computer and related technology.
Possesses good verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with planning and carrying out activities for residents in Healthcare houses with the team.
Assist in charting resident activity and completing required paperwork for admissions and assessments.
Develop new programs and activities to interest residents with the team.
Lead or assist in therapeutic recreational activities.
Assist with serving meals and dining for residents who cannot eat independently.
Escort residents to activities and visit residents with family as needed.
Relate well with residents, family, staff and community.
Work with volunteers assigned to Life Enrichment.
