Job summary

Monarch Communities in Brandywine Senior Living's Haddonfield community seeks a Life Enrichment Assistant. You will support residents by planning and implementing engaging programs and events, creating monthly calendars, and helping maintain resident histories with family involvement.

This hourly, non-exempt role operates Tue/Wed/Thu 11-7, with additional shifts Fri-Sat 9:30-5:30. The ideal candidate has related program leadership experience, strong communication, and reliable computer skills

Qualifications

• Related experience in leading programs.
• High school diploma or higher education preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willing to work flexible hours.
• Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications.
• Ability to drive the community vehicle for resident outings.

Responsibilities

• Assists with planning and implementing programs that meet the needs and interests of the residents.
• Assists with creating resident histories and profiles with resident/family involvement.
• Assumes responsibility for engaging residents in daily programs set-up and clean-up of daily programs scheduled.
• Assists with creating a monthly social program calendar and distributes them to community personnel and residents.
• Keeps residents engaged between planned programs.
• Drives the community vehicle for resident outings.
• Participates in and attends all in-service training as scheduled.
• Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
